NFC is a subset of RFID technology. RFID cards work at various frequencies (125kHz, 13.56MHz) with longer read ranges. NFC cards operate at 13.56MHz with shorter range (2-4cm) and are compatible with smartphones. Choose RFID for access control, NFC for mobile interaction and payments.
